About Our Games - Quality Ratings

Bay Area Amusements LLC is very focused on providing quality games for the home and commercial market. To insure that our customers know what they are buying and realizing that many of the games we sell are reconditioned or restored, Bay Area Amusements will sell two classes of games, Premiere Certified and Quality Choice games and will be designated by the following logos:

Premiere Certified games are either new or restored games and are the highest quality games that we sell, specifically for the home market. Premiere certified games undergo an extensive checklist (in the case of pinballs 127 items!) to insure that the game is to spec and is cosmetically, mechanically, and electrically as close to new as possible. Additionally, Premiere Certified games are warranteed by Bay Area Amusements at time of purchase and serviced by us if anything should happen to the game.

Quality Choice games are reconditioned games, which are checked mechanically, tested for full functionality, as well as cleaned completely. Quality choice games will include the older games, which may have one or more specific consmetic or other issues due to their age. Additionally, the mechanics and electronics will be tested and working upon purchase by the customer. Quality Choice games do not come with a warrantee, and service is on a service call fee basis. Note that extended service plans are available for Quality Choice games.

	Roller Coaster Tycoon, Stern 2002	New game still on the showroom floor! To best understand how the ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON pinball machine works, picture the ball on a ramp as you would a rider on a roller coaster. The playfield has 4 roller coasters, including “The Flying Ghost,” “The Flying Turns,” an inverted ramp coaster called “The Chicago Loop,” and the “The Rocket,” a coaster that blasts the ball almost to the playfield glass before sending it on a wild ride around the playfield.
